This is a contract role with a 1 year minimum. The ideal candidate will have flexibleility to travel to all Laderach locations as needed within the GTA.

A Laderach Assistant Manager is a brand champion in providing a topnotch shopping experience for all customers and a leader in providing a positive work environment for the retail team. The ideal Assistant Manager is a chocolate-lover with proven experience in effective retail shop and staff management. This person will to support the Store Manager in the daily operations ofthe retail store. This role aids in the supervision of employees, is an example of excellent customer service, leads training plans and helps carry out the goals of the Store Manager in order to meet the store quotas.

General Duties include:

  • Leading outstanding customer experience, motivating staff to provide superior customer service
  • Overseeing product sales and register duties, plus shop and shelf care (including store cleanliness and sanitation), gift packaging and in-store order fulfillment
  • Ensuring the accuracy of Läderach seasonal staging and product merchandising while executing proper food safety protocol
  • Help schedule effective staff shifts and coordinate store meetings/events
  • Help the Store Manager manage the accuracy product merchandising and store inventory orders
  • Help achieve in-store compliance and loss prevention standards
  • Act as a key communicator of corporate values to customers and employees
  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Other role related responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager

Desired Qualifications include:

  • At least one (1) year of experience in a customer-minded luxury retail environment
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a retail space with increasing levels of responsibility (ex growth from

associate level to shift lead/floor lead/assistant manager)

  • Equipped with strong leadership, staff management and customer service skills
  • Reliable with a flexible schedule, including the availability to work extended hours, weekends, and holiday

hours based on store needs

  • Quality-minded with keen attention to detail
  • Cultivate an environment of courtesy and good manners
  • Passionate about chocolate
